How yoga increases fertility

Yoga asanas have several health benefits. However, yoga can help with fertility-related issues in the following ways, shared by fitness trainer and exercise nutritionist Hasti Singh:

* Yoga exercises stimulate the uterus and ovaries

* Trains and strengthens the back muscles

* It detoxifies the body by flushing out toxins

* Provides flexibility in the groin and hips

* Makes the neck muscles stronger and the spine more flexible

* Improves mood and reduces depression, tension and mood swings

* Facilitates smooth delivery.

Try these yoga poses to increase fertility:

Yoga pose of seated forward bend (Paschimottanasana) - includes stretches for the lower back, hips and thighs. Improves uterine and ovarian functions and relaxes the body.

"Viparita Karani" (legs up against the wall) - relieves back pain and improves blood circulation in the pelvis. For this pose, install a support on the floor next to the wall. Lay your left side along the wall. You should place the brace under your hips and lower back. Support yourself on your elbows and shoulders. Your palms should be facing up while your arms are placed by your sides. Spend at least 5 minutes in this pose. Breathe out slowly as you descend. Take a deep breath and relax in Shavasana.
