Drama can ruin your happiness, stress you out, and make you feel exhausted. But there are ways you can prevent the drama from invading your life and ruining it.

The secret is in figuring out how to use the law of attraction to bring positivity and happiness into your life rather than negativity and drama.

You've probably already been there. A colleague not only blows a bit disproportionately, but also includes others unnecessarily.

A friend or family member is disappointed in something that brought their life to them and somehow comes to the conclusion that it is your fault.

Your spouse or loved one will respond with much more emotional energy than the situation requires.

What now?

Logically, you probably understand that these reactions are the result of an unresolved problem from the past. But how do you get around them? And more critically, what if you are the person who is overreacting?

The first thing to understand in living a drama-free life is that you cannot “get to the bottom” of drama. What you focus on becomes more of a problem.

The powerful law of attraction states that like attracts like, which means like energies continue to build and become stronger. Drama lives from more drama. Pain creates more pain. Fighting negativity with negativity is the fastest way to get more of it.

The main clue to avoiding the drama is not to get involved in it in the first place. If you try too hard to be the voice of reason it will only lead to more noise.

So what can you do when you find yourself becoming (or already involved in) someone else's drama?

Here are 4 easy ways you can use the law of attraction to live a happy life without drama:

1. Pay attention to your words.

Both the words you speak out loud and those you offer in the privacy of your own mind. Language doesn't just describe reality; Language creates reality.

By studying the words you use, you will get valuable insight into how to interpret a particular situation. Words like “I can't”, “I should / shouldn't”, “I always / never”, “I have to” indicate that you are already knee-deep in the drama.

Another, more straightforward way to differentiate this is to pay attention to how you are feeling.

When you are involved in drama with another person, you always feel bad. To be in drama, by definition, means coming from a lack-based perspective. They see themselves either as victims, as persecutors or as rescuers. In other words, you react, don't react.

Whenever you feel like you identify with one of these roles, back off before the law of attraction adds to the drama. And the best way to do that is by paying attention to the words you offer both out loud and in your internal dialogue. Turn disempowering language into declarations of empowerment.

2. Explore your options.

Have you ever been so fixated on a problem that you couldn't see a solution right in front of you? That’s what it’s like to be lost in drama (someone else’s or our own). Our negative thoughts and feelings blind us to see how many options are really available to us in any situation.

Whenever you feel like you are stuck, make a list of at least ten different ways you can approach the situation.

Even if you are unable to leave, you can always exercise your right to withdraw your attention. You also have the power to decide how to interpret a situation and what conclusions to be drawn from it.

Your point of view is an option.

You can choose to keep busy with everything that has already happened or focus on what you want to create now. When you are ready to give up the scarcity mindset, you become present of the abundance that surrounds you. And when drama comes into contact with neutrality, it loses all momentum.

3. Claim your power to "choose".

After examining all of the options available, you can now choose one that matches the result you want.

Every time something undesirable occurs, it brings the gift of clarity with it. If you don't feel respected, you clearly want more respect. When a relationship is in turmoil, it becomes clear how much you value harmony. And if you've been through too much drama or chaos, your desire for peace never becomes clearer to you.

Use your innate freedom of choice to focus on the solution you are looking for and not on the problem.

4. Let go with love.

The ultimate habit of avoiding the drama is to stop resisting it.

Trying to control the behavior of someone other than yourself is a losing battle every time. Do your best to let go of your own emotionally charged thoughts and judgments. Give up your perspective on what others should be doing. Let go of your need for confirmation or confirmation.

The bottom line ...

If you want less drama in your life, leave your drama at the door. If you want peace, bring it with you everywhere. If you stop starting the flames of drama, the law of attraction will stop spreading it.
